Hi, i am Preshtha Bijlane
I’m a human-centered UX designer with roots in psychology, business, and systems thinking.
I began my academic journey studying psychology, with a strong foundation in business, driven by a curiosity about how people think, decide, and interact with systems. After graduating, I chose a practical path into corporate finance, where I developed strong analytical skills, worked within complex systems, and collaborated with cross-functional stakeholders ranging from engineering and project management to executive leadership.
Over time, I realized I was seeking work that allowed for greater creativity, empathy, and human impact. Discovering UX design felt like a natural evolution — a space where psychology, business, and creativity could coexist. The skills I developed in finance — structured thinking, stakeholder collaboration, and translating complexity into clarity — became foundational to my design practice.
Today, I focus on designing intuitive, research-driven experiences that prioritize clarity, accessibility, and real human needs. When I’m not designing, you’ll likely find me outdoors, training for my next run, following tennis or planning my next trip!
